help !

hello room, we live in nyc and boy do we have a problem. we talked to
a lawyer and he kind of said we have no way out of this problem. the
problem being bankruptcy. we own a co-op in queens ny we have not
filed as of yet and according to this lawyer we will lose our home
and we can't let that happen our son is 11 yrs old and my wife and i
are both disablled. the money coming in is not going to be able to
pay off any fees set by a trustee the phone is ring off the hook
allday long ...Please if there is anybody out there that can help us
through this very very hard time ,,you be g-d sent. Thanks
