Welcome to the group. It sounds like you need to get in contact with your attorney and your trustee to make some changes to your plan. Maybe you can re-do it and include the past due mortgage payments. You shouldn't be getting into trouble unless you've had a major unexpected expense come up and in those cases, I've always heard that the trustee would work with you to lower your payments temporarily or change your plan. Anyone else considering a chapter 13 should also over-estimate on your expenses such as food, medical and car maintenance to give yourself a little cushion. Then when something unexpected happens, you'll be okay. Contact your lawyer before you get into too much trouble.
