Negative Impact

Hello:

I'm new to the group. I was so glad to find it. I'm thinking of
filing within the next month. I'm to the point that I can't even
answer my phone because of the credit card harrassment. I was always
responsible with my credit before I lost my job. Since I lost the
job, I haven't been able to find full-time work. Instead, I've been
working temp jobs that pay a fraction of what I used to make so I had
to make tough choices. Pay the rent or the credit cards. I really
hate to file bankruptcy. I'd rather pay my bills but at this point I
don't feel that I have a choice.

So my question is: what type of negative impact will I have when it
comes to renting apts., etc. in the future? I'm so scared that I'll
never be able to do anything because of this. If anyone has filed and
gone one to rebuild their credit, please share your experience.
