Had my 341 hearing (relieved)

My husband and I went through our meeting of creditors last
Thursday, and all went fairly smoothly...although we were sweating
it for awhile waiting for our lawyer who was late! Yikes what a
relief when he did show!

Anyway, everything went quickly except for the fact that my social
wasn't on the filed paperwork, so the trustee continued it until my
lawyer faxed a copy of the new paperwork to her. Also, we
reaffirmed our auto loans, and surprisingly it seemed like Circuit
City wanted us to come up with some stereo equipment we bought about
three years ago with their credit card! We didn't own any of it
anymore, so our laywer said not to worry about that.

Capital One also extended an offer where my husband's credit card
could be kept with a higher rate, but unsecured so I think we are
going to take advantage of that. It's a very low balance card, and
it would be nice to have something opened to reestablish some
credit. Has anyone heard of credit card companies doing this?
