Welcome to the group! Although I've done a ton of research on bankruptcy, I haven't filed yet. We'll file on November 3rd. I can't wait because I think it will eliminate a lot of stress. As far as social stigma, I live in a large area so no one I know will know about our bankruptcy except the few I've told. And those I've told have either done it themselves or been close. Our area is a large technology area and has been hit hard with lay offs in this horrible economy. Here's a few websites you may want to check out to get more answers.
