You remind me of an all time favorite movie if mine, called "Claudine." It
is the story of an African-American single mom on welfare, trying to do the
best for her children. There is a scene where the social worker from the w
elfare office comes to check out her house. She wants to make sure Claudine
does not possess anything extravagant. Before the social worker comes, her
and her children run around hiding things.

It is such a great movie.
