Re: Creditor got ahold of x-wife and her sister!?

I had something somewhat similiar happen to me, tho they didn't
contact a family member. about a month ago, i found out that one of
the credit card companies had contacted my landlord. Evidentally the
call was to try and fish out some information about me, and
thankfully my landlord didn't tell them anything. There were at
least 2 calls that i know of, and i have to say, that i found this
to be incredibly embarrassing since i have never been late with my
rent, and i would, naturally, like to keep that part of my life
private. and it really upset me that they would contact him in the
first place. i expected the calls at my job (which have stopped),
but i have no idea how they managed to get my landlord's # since i
rent from a private individual instead of a rental agency etc.
