Time: 4:25:23 pm I'm new in this group, just filed Chapter 13 pro se as I can't
justify the additional legal representational cost. I managed thru
the legal maze of bankruptcy and the court several years ago in
another 13, successfully. I'm not proud to be going through it
again, but this time I have the advantage of the internet!!! I
didn't see similar links in this group that I've used in my case, and
wasn't sure how to post those. Perhaps the moderator will assist?
In the meantime, anyone contemplating or enduring BK might check
their own state's laws at this link:
For those who plan to file for themselves, don't be the idiot that I
was who spent useless money for software to file as most forms are
available online for free. Your state may have their own and general
forms are available here at:
By the way, pro se if VERY difficult!!! I would NOT recommend it to
the faint of heart - it takes time, research, dedication AND balls of
steel when you appear in court. The trustee is foremost an attorney
and may resent your representing yourself. But it is most legal for
us to handle our case. I joined this group hoping to find specific
answers on selling my house as condition of my payment plan. I have
a very potential buyer if we agree on price and remainder of work for
me to complete on its remodel. I know it can be done, looking for
examples. Any helpers?
