Time: 8:46:50 am Maybe he was impressed that you did it all yourself with paperwork from the internet, no less! I don't know. Try not to worry about it. I'll cross my fingers for you that every thing goes smoothly until you're discharged.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to update you on my case. I filed Pro Se. My meeting
was today at noon. The guard at the door asked who my attorney was
and I told him I was Pro Se.He gave everyone a questionnaire to fill
out and I had a extra one because I had no attorney. He told me that
the Trustee usually takes "us" last. I have no idea why.
Anyway..time went by very fast! A lot of folks didn't even sit down
for a good 2 minutes in front of the trustee.
Before it began the trustee told everyone he needed some type of
picture ID. He also said someone may get their case dismissed
because they had filed and hadn't waited the 6 year limit. I never
really saw who it may have been.
There was about 35 people ahead of me. Everyone had attorneys. Some
of the questions the trustee inquired a little more in detail seemed
to be property owners. One lady had property and he wanted to know
where it was and was anything on it. She seemed to have hesitated
and he asked her why did she pause and look at her attorney. I think
she may have been nervous.
Well I was the very last one like the guard stated. He swore me in
and took my ID and checked it. He asked me about my car that I owned
which was worth 1800.00 I told him it was a 1990 Saab with 160,000
miles on it. He then asked me did I have any money coming from the
car accident that I had due to a lot of the medical bills. I told
him no and that after my lawyer got his cut, I had about 3000.00
that came back.
He then asked me did my husband work? I told him that I was
separated and my husband lived in another state. He then asked me
was the kids with me. I told him yes. He then asked if I had filed a
bankruptcy before and I answered no. The very last question he asked
was where did I get my paperwork at since I was pro se. I told him a
internet website.
I thought maybe something was wrong, but he shook his head and said
OK like everything was in order. The whole time he's looking through
my packet. (petition)
He said that's all he needed and told me to have a nice day.
