There are a few different routes you could take.

#1 I'm looking into joinging Legal Club Of America
(I am not an agent yet, but I am going to
join it). Why is this so good? Well, if you become "an Agent" you can
sell the program. I personally have NO intentions on doing that
because I was in MLM once and it sucked, but this isn't "multi level"
anyway because you don't build any "network" underneath you anyway.
If people stay re-sign up at the end of the year you get a
percentage, if they don't you don't,it's that simple. It's a lot like
PrePaid-Legal, but it's cheaper and this company seems to have a lot
less restriction. Also, for the $99 "agent fee" you also become a
member, that means you can pick a lawyer out of the group and they
are supposed to charge you $250 for the BK. That's a pretty good
price considering these lawyers SUPPOSEDLY have 10 years experience
on average, again, I can't verify it because I haven't joined yet.
But, if all of this is true, you get access to a very limited legal
program that you could market to others if you wanted to, and get to
use it yourself for $99.

#2. If your BK is very very very very simple, you could file it
yourself. Probably a waste of your time and you can easily make
mistakes and get sued.

#3. If you live in Los Angles, you can go down to the Los Angeles
Free Clinic and BK is one of the free services! There's probably
something like that in your area.

#4. You could get a paralegal to do it. But they will probably charge
you $250 like Legal Club would, so I don;t see much of an advantage
in getting someone less experienced for roughly the same price.

#5 Whatever you DO decide, DON'T deal with one of these "credit
counseling services". All they will do is stretch out your debt, make
you pay more and keep your credit worse than if you had done the BK
for a longer period of time. That's MY opinion anyway.
