Welcome to the group! Go back through a few pages at the yahoo groups site. There's websites others have posted on how to file bankruptcy and do all the paperwork yourself. Why would you lose your car? Are the payments too much or are you too far behind to catch up? If your payments are current, you can reaffirm the car and keep it. A lot of us are in the same boat, job wise. You can also get a free consultation with an attorney just to have them answer some questions for you. Have you checked legal aid to see if you qualify for that?
