Time: 3:57:57 am Hi everyone,
Been reading the board for about 2 months to help me decide on my
options. I was laid off last year and as many folks do, i began my
own business. Unfortunately that hasnt really helped at all. Now
I've run through all of my savings and I've been living off my credit
cards for months. I had a substantial balance before, but it has
ballooned since my layoff. I am currently in IL, but I am at the
point that I need to consider moving back with family if I cannot get
a new job ASAP. I'm trying to determine if I should start my
procedings in IL even though I may be moving within a month or should
I wait until I either move back with family or move for another job
and then file. I am concerned that if I were to file now, i will
lose my only source of funds, credit cards, and then have a difficult
time getting a new lease. Would I be better served to wait it out a
month or so and hope to land a new job and then file once I have
settled in?
Thanks for any input.
